Curated by ATP & Loop – Nov 29th-Dec 1st
Mogwai to close festival, Ty Segall, Balam Acab, Wolf People and more newly confirmed
ATP recently confirmed that two very special December festival events at Camber Sands will be the last ever UK Holiday Camp festivals – two consecutive weekends going under the title ATP – End Of An Era. ATP will continue to promote curated events in the UK, but after our imminent Deerhunter curated June weekend (tickets available now here), and these newly confirmed End Of An Era weekends, we will no longer be hosting them at our traditional holiday camp locations. ATP are bringing back many fan favourites including many past curators and mixing them in with the latest and most innovative new artists around.
Today we can confirm more artists for both line-ups with more past curators, ATP Recordings artists and friends of ATP to be confirmed…
Today we can confirm that Mogwai (the headliners of the first ever ATP festival in 2000) will play the closing set of this final holiday camp festival. Stuart Braithwaite of Mogwai:
“It’s an incredible honour to be asked to close the final ATP holiday camp festival. We couldn’t have imagined when we curated in 13 years ago that the festival would have had the impact that it’s had. Back then festivals were moving further to the mainstream and I think the continued strength of underground music in the UK owes a big debt to the work done by ATP. I think getting to play with Loop, musical heroes of ours will be a fitting way for us to close this event.”
They are joined by other new additions – Balam Acab, Ty Segall, White Fence, Föllakzoid, Wolf People, Civil Civic, Tall Firs, Dawn Hunger, Kandodo, New War and DJ Jonathan Toubin.
